Home decor website development

Home decor websites for rooms, materials, and living — lifestyle merchandising, not a furniture SKU list with softer copy.

Decor brands sell atmosphere and mix as much as a single SKU. Weblexia builds home decor websites for living and interior labels that need shop-the-look IA, material storytelling, and a store that still tells the truth about stock and shipping. Furniture ecommerce is the right page when bulky goods and freight are the centre of the work.

01 — What we build

What this engagement covers

  1. 01

    Lifestyle merchandising

Rooms, palettes, and stories that still resolve to products.

  2. 02

    Material and care content

What it is made of and how to live with it — as fields, not captions in a JPEG.

  3. 03

A store that matches the line

Shopify, WooCommerce, or a brand site plus store as scoped.

02 — What's included

In a typical statement of work

  • Brand and merchandising IA
  • Design and implementation on the agreed platform
  • Collection and PDP templates
  • Material and look content model
  • Performance on image-led pages
  • Launch and handover notes

03 — Process

How the work actually runs

  1. 01

    Brand and catalog reality

How you sell, who merchandises, and which platform actually fits — written before design polish. We will not start in Figma against an unchosen stack.

  2. 02

    Architecture

Templates, content model, and commerce rules if there is a cart. Platform choice is part of this step, not a logo on the proposal cover.

  3. 03

    Design and build

Figma where it earns its keep, then implementation on Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, or Webflow as scoped. Performance on the templates that take traffic is part of the same pass.

  4. 04

    Launch and handover

Staging sign-off, redirects, analytics, and notes the team can operate. Go-live is a rehearsal.

05 — Why Weblexia

How we partner on this work

  • 01

    Category constraints first

Jewellery, skincare, and furniture do not share a theme. We start with catalog, claims, and fulfilment — then pick the stack.

  • 02

    Platform as a decision

Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, and Webflow are tools. We recommend one in writing. We will not implement three 'just in case'.

  • 03

    Operators can run it

CMS fields, sections, and merchandising rules are built for the people who ship campaigns after we leave.

  • 04

    No invented prices

Investment follows discovery. Published bands on the pricing hub orient the conversation; the statement of work follows the catalog and stack.

Partnership signal

What happens when you reach out

A senior lead reads your context before the first conversation — not a script, not a junior qualifier. If we are not the right fit, we say so plainly.

Qualified inquiries receive a written response within two business days — often with a proposed discovery shape, not a generic rate card.

06 — Capabilities

What we typically implement

  • Decor IA
  • Lifestyle merchandising
  • Material CMS
  • Brand-plus-store
  • Figma
  • Shopify
  • WooCommerce
  • Webflow

Investment

Productized economics

Published ranges and tiers orient the conversation — final statements of work reflect your stack, traffic, and risk profile after a short consultation.

Consultative engagement

  • Design engagements are scoped as partnerships — milestones, success metrics, and governance are agreed before material engineering spend.
  • Review engagement models on the pricing hub, then book a consultation for a tailored proposal.

09 — FAQs

Questions we are asked before a proposal

Decor vs furniture?

Decor is mix, materials, and lifestyle merchandising. Furniture is dimensions, freight, and considered high-ticket SKUs. Overlap exists; the proposal will say which constraints dominate.

Lookbooks without ecommerce?

Possible as a brand site. If you sell online, the lookbook should not be a second website that fights the cart on SEO.

Trade programme?

Trade pricing is a commerce ruleset. See WooCommerce for wholesale or B2B if that is the operating model.

Next step

Discuss your home decor website with the team that ships it.

Share the catalog, the current site, or the outcome you need. A senior lead replies with a realistic path — discovery, a scoped build, or a clear decline if we are not the right fit.
