Furniture ecommerce website development
Furniture ecommerce for dimensions and delivery — considered PDPs, not a fashion grid with larger photographs.
Furniture buyers need measurements, materials, and when it will arrive. Weblexia builds furniture ecommerce websites for brands that sell sofas, tables, and case goods — with spec metafields, freight or white-glove messaging, and a checkout that does not hide lead time. Visualisers only when photography and data can support them.

01 — What we build
What this engagement covers
01
Spec-led product pages
Dimensions, materials, and lead times as data merchandisers own.
02
Room and category IA
How people furnish — not a single collection dump.
03
Delivery truth
Freight, made-to-order, and white-glove copy on PDP and cart.
02 — What's included
In a typical statement of work
- Catalog and attribute model for furniture
- Storefront templates through checkout
- Delivery and lead-time messaging
- Bundle or shop-the-look sections where content exists
- Performance budget on heavy galleries
- Launch, redirects, and ops notes
03 — Process
How the work actually runs
- 01
Brand and catalog reality
How you sell, who merchandises, and which platform actually fits — written before design polish. We will not start in Figma against an unchosen stack.
- 02
Architecture
Templates, content model, and commerce rules if there is a cart. Platform choice is part of this step, not a logo on the proposal cover.
- 03
Design and build
Figma where it earns its keep, then implementation on Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, or Webflow as scoped. Performance on the templates that take traffic is part of the same pass.
- 04
Launch and handover
Staging sign-off, redirects, analytics, and notes the team can operate. Go-live is a rehearsal.
05 — Why Weblexia
How we partner on this work
01
Category constraints first
Jewellery, skincare, and furniture do not share a theme. We start with catalog, claims, and fulfilment — then pick the stack.
02
Platform as a decision
Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, and Webflow are tools. We recommend one in writing. We will not implement three 'just in case'.
03
Operators can run it
CMS fields, sections, and merchandising rules are built for the people who ship campaigns after we leave.
04
No invented prices
Investment follows discovery. Published bands on the pricing hub orient the conversation; the statement of work follows the catalog and stack.
Partnership signal
What happens when you reach out
A senior lead reads your context before the first conversation — not a script, not a junior qualifier. If we are not the right fit, we say so plainly.
Qualified inquiries receive a written response within two business days — often with a proposed discovery shape, not a generic rate card.
06 — Capabilities
What we typically implement
- Furniture catalogs
- Spec PDPs
- Freight UX
- Room merchandising
- Shopify
- WooCommerce
- Figma

09 — FAQs
Questions we are asked before a proposal
Room visualizers or AR?
Only with assets and a vendor in the plan. Most furniture brands get more from honest specs and better IA. See Shopify for home and lifestyle if the stack is already Shopify.
Made-to-order upholstery?
Lead times and swatches belong in the theme. Inventory pretence is worse than an eight-week make window written clearly.
Shopify or WooCommerce?
Shopify for most DTC furniture. WooCommerce when wholesale, B2B, or WordPress content is the centre. Manufacturing-adjacent catalogs may want WooCommerce for manufacturing as the commerce ruleset.
Next step
Discuss your furniture ecommerce website with the team that ships it.
Share the catalog, the current site, or the outcome you need. A senior lead replies with a realistic path — discovery, a scoped build, or a clear decline if we are not the right fit.
