Shopify for D2C brands
D2C Shopify stores built for paid traffic, merchandising velocity, and operations — not a brand site with a cart plugin.
Direct-to-consumer brands buy traffic and then ask the store to convert it. Weblexia builds Shopify for D2C teams who need a merchandisable OS 2.0 system, an honest app stack, and PDPs that hold up when ads, email, and drops hit the same templates — without a rebuild every quarter.

01 — What we build
What this engagement covers
01
Campaign-ready storefronts
Home, collection, and PDP templates that paid and lifecycle traffic can land on — not only a cinematic homepage.
02
Merchandising as a system
Sections, metafields, and collection rules so growth can ship offers without a developer queue.
03
Ops-aware integrations
ESP, subscriptions, search, and fulfilment apps contracted against checkout and performance — not installed from a blog list.
02 — What's included
In a typical statement of work
- OS 2.0 architecture for D2C catalogs
- Landing, collection, and PDP template set
- Merchandising metafields and campaign sections
- App stack review against performance and checkout
- Analytics and event review on the paths you pay for
- Launch rehearsal, redirects, and rollback notes
- Handover for the team running ads and lifecycle
03 — Process
How the work actually runs
- 01
Catalog and operations
We map how you actually sell: variants, bundles, subscriptions, shipping rules, and who will merchandise the store after launch.
- 02
Storefront architecture
Templates, metafields, and collection logic are specified before theme polish. Apps are chosen against that model — not stacked because a competitor uses them.
- 03
Theme build
Online Store 2.0 sections, PDP performance, and editor training. Campaign modules are built so merchandisers can ship drops without a developer ticket.
- 04
Launch and handover
Staging sign-off, redirects, analytics, and a written operating note. Go-live is a rehearsal, not the first time the catalog is complete.
05 — Why Weblexia
How we partner on this work
01
Catalog-first, not theme-first
Industry Shopify work fails when a pretty theme is dropped on an unmodelled catalog. We start with variants, merchandising, and checkout constraints.
02
Merchandisers can operate it
Sections, metafields, and collection rules are built for the team that will run campaigns — not only for the screenshot at launch.
03
Apps treated as liabilities
Every app is a performance and ops cost. We keep what the category actually needs and document what we refuse to install.
04
Performance as acceptance
PDP weight, image pipelines, and third-party scripts are part of done. Fashion, beauty, and D2C traffic does not wait for a follow-up speed project.

09 — FAQs
Questions we are asked before a proposal
We already have a Shopify store. Is this a rebuild?
Not automatically. Many D2C projects are recoveries: app debt, unusable sections, and PDPs that cannot take ad traffic. We audit before we recommend a new theme.
Do you work with our media buyer or only on the theme?
The storefront is the engagement. We will align landing templates and events with how you buy traffic. We are not your media agency and we will not pretend a theme ships ROAS.
Shopify Plus or standard Shopify?
Whichever matches checkout, B2B, and operational scale. Plus is not a badge. If standard Shopify holds the catalog and checkout you need, we will say so.
Should we pick an industry page instead?
If you are clearly fashion, beauty, jewelry, wellness, food, home, or sports, use that page — the catalog constraints are sharper. Use this page when you are a D2C brand whose category is mixed or still forming, and you need the commerce system first.
Next step
Discuss your D2C Shopify store with the team that ships it.
Share the catalog, the current theme, or the outcome you need. A senior lead replies with a realistic path — discovery, a scoped Shopify build, or a clear decline if we are not the right fit.
