Shopify for fashion brands
Fashion Shopify stores built around drops, variants, and editorial merchandising — not a generic apparel theme.
Fashion brands need lookbook pacing, size and fit systems, and collection UX that survives sale weeks. Weblexia builds Shopify storefronts for apparel, footwear, and accessories teams who cannot afford a theme that collapses under image weight or a merchandiser who needs a developer for every drop.

01 — What we build
What this engagement covers
01
Editorial commerce storefronts
Home, lookbook, collection, and PDP templates that sell product without burying the catalog in a campaign microsite.
02
Variant and size systems
Color, size, and fit metafields merchandisers can maintain — including size guides that stay attached to the right SKUs.
03
Drop and campaign modules
Section-based launch blocks for seasonal drops, waitlists, and restocks — without a new theme each season.
02 — What's included
In a typical statement of work
- OS 2.0 theme architecture for apparel catalogs
- Collection filtering that matches how customers shop the line
- PDP variant switching with an image pipeline budget
- Size guide and fit metafields
- Campaign sections merchandisers can reuse
- App review for reviews, loyalty, and returns
- Launch rehearsal, redirects, and handover notes
03 — Process
How the work actually runs
- 01
Catalog and operations
We map how you actually sell: variants, bundles, subscriptions, shipping rules, and who will merchandise the store after launch.
- 02
Storefront architecture
Templates, metafields, and collection logic are specified before theme polish. Apps are chosen against that model — not stacked because a competitor uses them.
- 03
Theme build
Online Store 2.0 sections, PDP performance, and editor training. Campaign modules are built so merchandisers can ship drops without a developer ticket.
- 04
Launch and handover
Staging sign-off, redirects, analytics, and a written operating note. Go-live is a rehearsal, not the first time the catalog is complete.
05 — Why Weblexia
How we partner on this work
01
Catalog-first, not theme-first
Industry Shopify work fails when a pretty theme is dropped on an unmodelled catalog. We start with variants, merchandising, and checkout constraints.
02
Merchandisers can operate it
Sections, metafields, and collection rules are built for the team that will run campaigns — not only for the screenshot at launch.
03
Apps treated as liabilities
Every app is a performance and ops cost. We keep what the category actually needs and document what we refuse to install.
04
Performance as acceptance
PDP weight, image pipelines, and third-party scripts are part of done. Fashion, beauty, and D2C traffic does not wait for a follow-up speed project.

09 — FAQs
Questions we are asked before a proposal
How is this different from your Shopify fashion website page?
That page is the fashion storefront build. This page is the brand engagement: catalog operations, wholesale-plus-DTC constraints, seasonal merchandising, and how the store is run after launch. Many fashion clients need both conversations; the work is one Shopify system.
Can you handle complex size and color matrices?
Yes. We model options, metafields, and swatch media so variant switching does not reload the page into a new theme. If your line needs fit notes per SKU, that belongs in the data model — not in a PDF linked from the footer.
Do you build for drop traffic?
We plan image weight, app scripts, and checkout-adjacent apps against the templates that take the hit. We do not promise a score or a conversion rate. We do verify the PDPs we ship under a stated performance budget.
Will merchandisers need us for every campaign?
The goal is no. Sections, metafields, and collection templates are built so the team can launch a drop from Shopify. Custom campaigns can still be scoped — they should be exceptions, not the weekly path.
Next step
Discuss your fashion Shopify store with the team that ships it.
Share the catalog, the current theme, or the outcome you need. A senior lead replies with a realistic path — discovery, a scoped Shopify build, or a clear decline if we are not the right fit.
